My life as a 22 yr old almost graduate...
WHAT ON EARTH HAS MEAGAN BEEN GETTING HER HANDS INTO LATELY?
So this post is for all of you who have been wondering what on earth has been going on in my life lately! Because I have a such a busy semester (as well as a wonderful new boyfriend who occupies my time and thoughts <3) it's been a little hard to keep up with the Jones's (and Dickersons, and Stucki's, and Heiners, and Slys...). My life is wonderful! I'll be doing my best to get myself ready for NYC as well as preparing myself emotionally for the big move.
My mom and brother are coming up to the great land of ID to help me move back to Missouri. It's all a little unreal. I've been up here for so long andI'm going to miss it so much. I love Rexburg! I love that so many of my close friends are here and that I've had so many wonderful memories. We'll see how things go. Who knows? I may be back sooner than we think. ;)
I'll do my best to post more pics, but until then, try looking at my facebook. \
With love--Meagan

MOTORCYCLES!!!
So who doesn't love a good motorcycle ride in the summertime? For some reason my friends are going through 1/4-life crisis' and they went out and bought motorcycles. They're cool though and as long as they are my friends...they can buy whatever they want...as long as I get to partake.
On the left is Esteban (his name is really Steve and he's from California...but I call him Esteban) and on the right is Lincoln. I love these two guys. We've been friends for a couple of years now.
So who's that babe on the back of that bike? It's totally ME! Pretty attractive 'eh?
I'm totally in a skirt and flip flops riding a bullet bike. Nice.

Sunday Evenings...
As many of you may know, Sundays are pretty much the best days of the week. We often find ourselves all having dinner together out on the front lawn. We stay out there for hours just having fun and playing around...
We've met some pretty wonderful people in our ward, and it's made summer that much better.
We've met some pretty wonderful people in our ward, and it's made summer that much better.
Left to right: Just a few texans (two awesome southern gentlemen), Corey and Dustin, Liz, Mandy, and Steph.
Katie B. and Me! I love this girl. She is so funny and just a wonderful person to be around.
For some reason Eric felt like singing "Matchmaker" while wrapped in a blanket...before you knew it, Mandy joined in and Dan just sat back and enjoyed the show. Just part of a typical Sunday evening.

STADIUM SINGING!!! This is the other part of Sunday evenings. It happens every Sunday at 9:30 pm. (spanish singing is at 9:00). We go every week to the football stadium and sing hymns underneath the bleachers. It's always so fun and so spiritually uplifting. Good bonding time!
This is the gang...the girl right in the middle a little far back is Bonny. She makes my life go better.
This is Steve...aww Steve. He's a wonderful guy! Makes me feel wonderful! He's in So Cal right now. Aww Steve.

I LOVE REXBURG IN THE SUMMER!!!
ROCK CLIMBING!!!
I went Rock climbing twice in a row last week. The second time was a little more daring than the first...even thought my first time I went upside down on the mountain. Funny story. However, I'm pretty hard core now. This is one of the many reasons why you want to get to know the locals. I love them!!!
These are two of the best people I have ever met. Mandy (left) and Bonny (right) We have good times together. I'm a Missourian stuck in the middle of two Floridians...and I'm wearing the Mickey shirt--ironic!
Did I mention I was hard core?

THE PRANK...
So here's the scoop...I'm a gangsta and my neighbors pretty much rock! We had this plan, see. What we did was pop a TON of popcorn, tape a box to their door frame, and poured the popcorn in the space. So the next morning when they opened their doors...we let the prank take care of itself. It was AWESOME! If you can't quite picture it, use you're imagination. THIS WAS SO AWESOME...and devious if I do say so myself...
Before....
During...
After...
We had fun.

Life has taken an interesting turn...
It is now almost the beginning of June and a lot has happened since my last post. In fact, my life has taken a complete 180 and I find myself thinking more and more about what on earth I'm supposed to do about it. You hear people say that if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing, everything will just fall into place.
However, it seemed as though the harder I tried to get things into place, the more everything else fell out of place. These past couple of months have definately been a time of pondering and reflection for me. I really appreciate those who have been there fore me...
Life is so different for me right now even compared to last summer. Who knows what this summer will bring? Any advice for my confused, trying-to-be-hopeful-soul?

REXBURG WINTERS!!!
So Rexburg has this history of bad winters. However, this winter was by far the worst that I've een since I've been up here. We got dumped on. At least 7ft on the ground in some places.
I guess because it was my last winter, it was going out with a BANG!!!

So I wouldn't be the first one to admit that I have a problem...who am I kidding? It's Ellen's(the red head) 21st Birthday! Naturally they are all safe, we just got a little sugar rush. Yeah, a rush. That's what we'll call it :).

What's happening with me cont...
I decided to minor in Humanities—a study of religion, literature, art, and music of different cultures. It’s been a passion of mine since the first day of my freshman year. Actually, I had that passion since I began to learn about different cultures way before I began college. Now I just had an excuse to take classes for it. Why Humanities though? What does that have to do with Public Relations you ask? I really want to do international event planning. Humanities gives me the culture basis I need to help me work internationally. My ALL-TIME, GOTTA HAVE IT, Really what I want to do goal is to work for the church under international and public affairs. I’m working on getting there.
Right now I am working in the University Relations office planning a tour. The Chamber Orchestra goes on tour every other year and my job is to plan every little detail. We will be going to the Pacific Northwest April 12-28, 2008. I’m very excited.
I am currently the first counselor in my relief society presidency and before that, I was the teacher development teacher (teaching others how to teach). Some of my previous callings have included teaching relief society, ward missionary, compassionate service leader and many more.
I have had so many leadership and growing opportunities. I’ve tried to be really involved while here at the Y of I. I’ve been on dance teams, helped involve new students, host performers that come to the campus for shows, and several others. I have learned new talents and developed old ones. I love it up here. It’s been something that has changed my life and continues to change it. For those who haven’t been here, you don’t know what you’re missing until you come. Seriously! It’s the most wonderfully amazing experience!

As some may know, I am singing in the cultural celebration for the Rexburg, Idaho Temple dedication. It's going to be filled with talent from square dancing to fiddling, to hymns of praise. I have felt so spiritually strengthened by it and cannot wait for the performance!
The recent passing of our beloved prophet has inspired me to sing a little louder...so he can hear me from heaven.
