Dog Sitting and Mother's Day

Sean and I offered to dog-sit for a friend in the ward--Peggy and Dwight Renshaw. They have two ADORABLE Corgie's! I love those dogs! They are so much fun! The red one's name is Sahara and the white & gray one's name is Ty. They pretty much just follow us around all day and it's almost like they just can't wait to see what we are going to do next. They are full of love and don't bark at all. It's also a plus because we are staying at their house. We get to do ALL of our laundry (finally get caught up), they left us their car with GREAT gas mileage, and we had enough room to have everyone over for Mother's Day. I spent all day cooking for the mom's in my family.I made pork roast, a ham, mashed potatoes, corn, homemade rolls, and I made a Boston Creme Pie from scratch!!
It was oh so delicious! Everyone was there (except Michael who is in MO & Chloe and Eli) and we had a blast together. The weather was so nice that we were able to eat outside! It was a glorious day!

By the end of the night, I was so exhausted that I just passed out on the couch. My family had left and I was out of energy. Sean offered to clean the kitchen so I could rest. What a peach! Love Sundays like that! Family, Church & Corgies!

Here's a picture of the dogs.

This video is of Sahara...she didn't want to take her eyes off the chick because she didn't know what it would do next! So funny! (Coming soon!)

Catchup

I feel like we are always playing catch-up on this blogging thing--but I guess it's just because so much is ALWAYS going on! Anyway, I thought I would just mention a bit of what we have been up to!

In March, Sean and I coached both youth basketball teams! It turned out to be a lot of fun! Sean's team only lost a few games, and our team only played a few games. Nonetheless...we really bonded with the youth. Love them.
